A recent controversial study has suggested that most women who say they are straight are in fact aroused by videos of both naked men and naked women.

The study claims that most women are almost always gay or bisexual and are almost certainly not straight. This research has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.

The study was led by Dr Gerulf Rieger from the Department of Psychology at the University of Essex, in which they analysed 345 women while being shown of naked men and women. Their biological responses were measured, which included their pupil dilation and their genital response (pulse and blood flow).

The results were surprising to say the least, and women who identified as heterosexuals were, on average, strongly aroused by videos of both attractive men and women.

Dr Rieger’s said: “Even though the majority of women identify as straight, our research clearly demonstrates that when it comes to what turns them on, they are either bisexual or gay, but never straight.”

Do you agree that women can never be straight?
